WHO WE ARE

PlatformPolicy is operated by Arccore LLC, a Delaware LLC. We analyze publicly available policy documentation of digital platforms. We are not a partner, reseller, authorized representative, or agent of any platform we monitor.

PlatformPolicy has no affiliation with, and has not been endorsed, sponsored, or approved by:

  • Stripe, Inc.; PayPal Holdings, Inc.; Block, Inc. (f/k/a Square, Inc.)

TRADEMARK AND FAIR USE

Third-party names, logos, and marks appearing on our platform belong to their respective owners. We use these marks solely for identification and factual reference purposes. Such use constitutes nominative fair use under the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. § 1051 et seq.) and protected commentary and analysis under the First Amendment. No commercial relationship or endorsement is implied. We use marks only to the extent necessary to identify the platform under discussion.

DATA SOURCES, METHODS, AND LEGAL BASIS

Our analysis is derived exclusively from:

  • Official Monitoring Channels: developer newsletters, RSS feeds, official changelog pages, public GitHub repositories, and developer portal announcements to which we subscribe as ordinary users — the same channels platforms use to notify their own developer communities;
  • Publicly available policy pages accessed through transparent, rate-limited methods that comply with each platform's robots.txt directives and do not constitute unauthorized access under applicable law; and
  • Documented Enforcement Events compiled from court filings, regulatory records, official platform announcements, and published reporting — each entry verified against at least two independent, credible sources before inclusion.

We do not access password-protected content, bypass technical protection measures, or access non-public, confidential, or proprietary information belonging to any platform.

SOURCE STANDARDS, VERIFICATION, AND CORRECTION

PlatformPolicy's Enforcement Events database is compiled exclusively from verifiable public sources. Our verification standard requires: (a) at least two independent, credible sources for each documented event; (b) at least one source that is either a court filing, regulatory record, official platform announcement, or reporting from a recognized news outlet; and (c) internal editorial review before publication. We do not include unverified community reports, anonymous accounts, or single-source claims.

This database is not a Consumer Reporting Agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.), and its output is not intended to be used — and may not be used — as a factor in determining any individual's or entity's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA. Use of our database for any FCRA-regulated purpose is expressly prohibited under our Acceptable Use Policy.

If any party believes a database entry is factually inaccurate, they may submit a written correction request to legal@platformpolicy.com with supporting evidence. We will investigate and, if the claim is substantiated, correct within 30 days.

FAIR USE OF PLATFORM CONTENT

To the extent our Signals quote or summarize platform documentation, such use constitutes fair use under 17 U.S.C. § 107 for criticism, commentary, and factual reporting. We do not reproduce any platform's documents in full.

NO THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

This Statement is for informational purposes. No Covered Platform is a third-party beneficiary of our services or bears any responsibility for our analysis.
